This talk by Mae Ngai features global perspective on the history of anti-Asian racism, placing its beginnings in the gold rushes of the American West, Australia, and South Africa in the late nineteenth and twentieth century; and traces the continuities and discontinuities in its reproduction throughout the twentieth century to the present.  Learn more.
